Research Projects
·Quantitative and Theoretical Study on the Complexity of Human Languages
To uncover the complexity of human languages is an important frontier research subject, such as emergence of communications, language evolution and cognition, natural language processing, etc. This project was dedicated to address these questions by using the theory and metric from network science and statistical physics.
·Data-mining and Agent-based Modeling of Financial Markets
Econophysics is an interdisciplinary research field, in which physicists develop the ideas, algorithms and models of statistical physics, to solve the problems in the financial markets, including uncertainty or stochastic processes and nonlinear dynamics.
