Zhiming Li: Male, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Master’s Supervisor.
His research interests are in the areas of high energy heavy-ion physics, especially in the subjects of correlations and fluctuations at high-energy collisions. Recently, he is interested in studying the phenomena in multi-particle productions by using machine learning methods. He has published several academic papers at Phys. Lett. B, Phys. Rev. C, D, etc.
In 2000, he graduated from the Physics Department of Central China Normal University (CCNU) with a bachelor’s degree. In 2006, he got a PhD degree in physics from the Institute of Particle Physics (IOPP), CCNU. He has been working at IOPP since graduated: a lecturer (2006.7—2008.6), an associate professor (2008.7—now). From 2002, he has visited several universities and institutes as a visiting scholar: visited the Institute of High Energy Physics, Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands (2002.11—2003.2, 2003.10-2004.8, 2005.7-2005.9, 2007.1-2007.4); Brookhaven National Laboratory in the USA (2009.6—2009.9, 213.3-2013.5, 2014.2-2014.4); Michigan State University in the USA (2015.9—2016.9).
