Lattice 2019, the 37th International Symposium on Lattice Field Theory will take place in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China from Sunday, June 16, 2019, to Saturday, June 22, 2019.

The conference will be held at the Hilton Wuhan Riverside hotel, which is conveniently connected from Wuhan Tianhe airport and various train stations. All plenary and parallel sessions will take place inside the Hilton Wuhan Riverside hotel.

Wuhan is the capital city of Hubei province aside by the ancient Yangtze river and it is a city of rivers & lakes and has a over 3500-year history. It is the birth place of the ancient Chu culture, and it also has played very important roles in the modern history of China as Wuhan people did the first uprising to end the Qing dynasty before the Republic of China.  It has a population of ~10 Million and is the 5th largest city in China.

Wuhan is divided by Yangtze river and Han river into three main districts: Hanyang, Wuchang and Hankou. Hanyang is mainly famous for industry, and Wuchang is full of universities and Hankou is the commercial center.  Wuhan is in fast development, and the slogan of Wuhan is “Wuhan, different everyday”, which is proposed by a professor from Central China Normal University. What Wuhan looked like before 2017 can be found on youtube.
