简介

王亚平现为华中师范大学教授、博士生导师,粒子物理研究所副所长。2008年博士毕业并入职华中师范大学,现任湖北省核学会副理事长,湖北省物理学会理事,RHIC/sPHENIX、EIC/ePIC以及NICA/MPD实验合作组理事会理事。主要从事高能重离子碰撞实验中重味和奇异性产生的实验研究,并研制粒子探测器开展在大科学装置实验中的应用。主持多项国家自然科学基金委项目,主持和以骨干成员参加多项国家重点研发项目。近年来,先后承担了ALICE/DCal电磁量能器、STAR/HFT-IST硅探测器、ALICE/ITS2硅像素探测器、MPD/ITS硅像素探测器、CEE/ZDC塑料闪烁体探测器等粒子探测器研制任务。同时,承担本科和研究生的教学科研与人才培养任务。

Bio

Yaping Wang is currently a Professor and the Deputy of the Institute of Particle Physics at Central China Normal University (CCNU). His research interested has been on the experimental studies of heavy flavor and strangeness production in high-energy heavy-ion collisions, particle detector research & development.
