周晓康现为华中师范大学副教授。他的研究方向是粒子物理实验，主要参与北京谱仪3(BESIII)和欧洲核子中心的LHcb实验，主要兴趣方向是味物理尤其是粲物理，包括奇异态，粲介子和粲重子的各种衰变性质研究，粲介子的量子关联测量，中性粲介子混合和CP破坏，CKM相角测量等等。还参与LHCb二期升级上游径迹探测器UP的相关软件和硬件工作，以及中国下一代探测器超级陶粲工厂（STCF）上切伦科夫探测器的粒子鉴别性能研究。
