Electronic and Information Engineering Undergraduate Personal Cultivation Program
Majors Code:080701
School Internal Code:417
Ⅰ、Majors Introduction
With the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2000, Electronic and Information Engineering was first established by College of Information Technology, and accepted its first year undergraduates in the same year. In 2012, Electronic and Information Engineering was integrated into College of Physical Science and Technology by means of school curriculum adjustment. Through more than ten years of construction, it has opened several major directions: Embedded System, Software Engineering, automatic technology and multimedia information processing and other professional directions. The major has Hubei College electrical and electronic experimental teaching demonstration center, communication engineering laboratories, modern communication technology laboratory, with a vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal analyzers, logic analyzers, vector signal source and other large equipment. It can set up all the experimental courses in this major. The major courses of the college are all university-level excellent and main courses. Now, our college has two first-level MA programs: information and communication engineering and electronic science and technology to provide graduate students the training phase.
Ⅱ、Cultivation Target
The major fosters students who develop morally and physically. It cultivates the students who can master the field of electronic and information engineering theoretical knowledge and major skills, with a strong practical ability and innovation capability, so that they can participate in related fields of scientific research such as information and communication, engineering design, and product development, teaching and management, as well as providing high quality students for postgraduate education.
Ⅲ、Basic Requirements
Graduates of this major are expected to have the following knowledge and skills: 1. Lay a very solid mathematical foundation; 2. Master electronics, science of information, computer science and other basic theories, methods and skills; 3. Has the ability to solve practical problems in the fields of electronic and information engineering; 4. Understand the discipline theory of electronic and information engineering, application prospect and the latest developments, as well as the development of information and communication industry; 5. Master the basic skills of document retrieval, information inquiry, and the application of modern information technology; 6. Has good spoken and written communication skills, as well as a strong ability to write scientific papers, and can skillfully use a foreign language to communicate with others; 7. Has good humanistic quality and scientific literacy, good psychological quality, a strong spirit of innovation; Has preliminary scientific research, technology development, organization and management ability, as well as excellent team spirit.
